Grapes on a vine in Umbria, Italy (and the hilltop town of Amelia).

Umbria, Italy’s ‘green heart’, is a region with no coastline in the centre of Italy. The capital city of the region is Perugia. It has many historical hilltop towns, beautiful countryside, meandering roads and romantic hilltop villages to explore. Of course, the local produce is really good too (buonissima!).
