I’ve already posted this photo of grapes (as a normal photo) but thought I would give it some special effects.
I used different layers for different pieces of the image to make a collage and then gave it a ‘sunburst’ effect. ‘Effects/filters’ – illumination effects – sunburst. Then to make the color more striking – ‘Adjust’ – hue/saturation – vibrancy.
I took the original photograph in Umbria, Italy.
Umbria, Italy’s ‘green heart’, is a region with no coastline in the centre of Italy. The capital city of the region is Perugia. It has many historical hilltop towns, beautiful countryside, meandering roads and romantic hilltop villages to explore. Of course, the local produce is really good too (buonissima!).
The town of Amelia in Umbria.
For the photo-editing of the second picture I selected the amphora and flowers using ‘auto-selection’, then ‘adjust’ hue and saturation to brighten it up slightly and after that clicked on ‘selections’ – ‘invert’ and changed the background.
Just saw the Weekly photo challenge – details but as I don’t have a macro lens, in fact I don’t even have a decent camera!…..decided to use one of the close-up pictures I took on my phone. I spend a lot of time walking on the beach here in Italy and there are some really pretty sea shells with lovely patterns.
The coastal tower of Caprioli is on the Cilentan coast and is just one of the wonderful views you can admire along this coastline in the province of Salerno, Italy.
